My Ride: 05 530i M Sport Sedan / Silver Grey
I just orderd mine from Andy, he told me that i was the lucy last for the group buy. Unfortunately he is out of stock of the auto trans version but he should have them back in stock by next week, i hope so as the response on the forum by memebrs who have this little wonder was enough for me to pull the trigger.

Glad to see all of that typing was read by someone and that you found it helpful. Sometimes I wonder after it gets buried a page by the next post in the thread or just due to the length. Thank you for letting me know you found the post(s) helpful.
In regard to your question I would venture a guess of YES, based on how it works.
You could e-mail Andy to verify if it is compatible with diesel. Should be the same unit we are using. If there is anyone out by you that has one on any model +2002 BMW or Mini Cooper, petrol or diesel then perhaps they would be as kind as ECF was to me and let you try it out on your car. Report back (if you do) so others with diesels will know if it is worthwhile.
sale@PartsExporter.com or paypal@PartsExporter.com should work to make contact with Andy.

Thanks again for the feedback, much appreciated. I'll take your advise and get in contact with Andy.
They also advertise these SB in Germany for 225............... but in EUROS!! If the shipping price is reasonable and its a good match to the diesel, then I think its time to take advantage of the Dollar-Euro rate!

Question to members who have the Auto with SB...
Can you still dab the throttle to control the gear changes or does that now result in a neck-breaking ride? Or is it just a matter of dabbing the throttle a lot less / more carefully to perform gear changes by using the throttle?
(hope that question makes sense!?)

You just need to get used to it. After driving around for a day or so you will get used to the more sensitive throttle. It took me about a day to get the proper "feel" of the pedal. You'll see what I mean...

Me two! And I mean two, not too!... I also ordered one for our member Thyrus and his 325d M-sport
Andy Wong confirmed the next delivery is this Saturday and shipment is 2-3 days. That means it should be there on time for the E60.NET European Meet on Saturday 26th April (Can't wait to see Andy545's face when I beat him of the lights in my diesel... ...ok, maybe that's wishful thinking )
