How many speakers total 8?
4 midrange and 4 tweeters?

A set has 2 midranges,2 tweeters, 2 crossovers. You will need 2 sets if you you want to replace front and rear speakers.

I might get on this .. how do these compare to the rainbow CS 210 Vanadium?

The Vanadium cost 2x, these are for budget minded guys. If you can afford the Vanadium set, i would go for them. You wont be disappointed regardless of which set you get.

250 is for 1 set or 2?
If the GB price is for 2 sets (one for the front one for the rear) then I am in.

I have the standard hi fi system, what would I need to replace my stockers?

2 sets of these will work. I also suggest changing the underseat speakers with the rainbow w200 midbass speakers.

Question from a non-car audio guy. On Rainbow's page it shows that these require a minimum amplifier 50W

Does that mean the JBL MS-8 can't power these? The MS-8 is only 18W X 8 @ 4 Ohms
