it is painted at the factory.

Sweeet! So you said with PDC for 1100 bucks up front, shipping included? :winkcool:
|
Look a few posts up. Painted bumper with or without PDC is $1550. If you want just the bumper, without all the other parts (screws, covers, nuts) then it is 1100

GOD THIS IS SO TEMPTING! But $1,5k is kinda expensive. As you are ordering a couple of bumpers, can't the price be lowered ? How long will the shipping be ?

So you would need all the screws, nuts, covers for proper installation right? |
From what i understand, we would need all the parts. If you look at this link Parts you'll see that we will need all the parts. and look here http://bmw-ci.com/images/E60Forum/1.jpg We don't have a lot of the parts listed on the diagram. He can order just the bumper if you would like however. I know $1550 is a lot but thats the price for a painted bumper. If you want to save money, buy the primed bumper and find a paint shop that will do it for less. He said if i was able to 5 or more kits, he could give us a 5% discount. But so far I only have people. Regardless of who gets in on this, I will be purchasing on for myself. Just thought I'd give everyone a chance to get one too. It might be cheaper when it is released in the US but I don't think it could be very much cheaper than the price we already have.

Bleudyno,
I think you're right. I just came back from my body shop yesterday. They're claiming for a proper install you'll need more than just the bumper. They could be wrong, but I'd rather wait and see if additional parts are required. |
If Alpine 545 is successful I too will be interested.
Thanks! |
Ooo WOW!!!! but dang! $1500 then i need someone to install it! :'(
