If you ask about fitment, yes, V6 and V6.1 works perfect with the lamp.
If you ask which one would be better, it totally depends on your appetite.

You don't need any bulb for the tail.
The tail is complete set.

But, if your E60 is non-LCI, you need Bruce cable.

Bottom line:
LCI E60 just needs this tail lamp.
Non-LCI E60 needs the tail lamps AND Bruce cable.
