Took Delivery 10/26/2009: LOADED! E60 M5 Silverstone II/Black, Active Seats, Comfort Ventilated/Heated Seats, HUD, Brushed Aluminum Trim,
I had my windows tinited last weekend and after I left, Igot this error on the iDrive. BTW the guy who installed my tint was a fairly large guy, at least 6 ft. tall and 250lbs. Do you think his weight might of damaged the sensor and caused this error on the iDrive?

Had that same problem when I was messing with the electronics for my amp and sub. Turned out, it was a fried airbag sensor and fried alternator. All replaced under warranty.

Group buy on Idrive errors??? YIKES!!! I actually had that error crop up before. Turning the car off for a minute and restarting seem to have corrected the hiccup - hasn't happened again and that was 2 months ago.
