Red face

I've been getting inquiries on the newly released JL Audio Stealthbox? for our E60's:
http://www.mobilesoundworks.com/ProductDet...2D5ser%5F12w6v2

MODEL: SB-B-5SER/12W6v2
FITS: 04-Up BMW 5-Series (E60)
WOOFER: One 12W6v2-D4
MSRP: $949.95

Contains one 12W6v2-D4 subwoofer in a sealed enclosure. 600 watt power handling. Wired for 2 ohm mono. Installs in driver-side, rear corner of trunk compartment. Black, steel mesh woofer grille is included.

If I get enough interest, here's what pricing would look like:

$699 = 4-8 people
$659 = 9-14 people
$629 = 15+ people

Once the order is put in, it would take about 1-2 weeks for the shipment to come in. From there, local customers (SoCal) are welcome to pick it up. Others will have to pay for shipping the item to them.

Anyone interested?

PM if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Interesting. Where would you mount the amp? And what kind of amp would you recommend to drive that thing? Is it possible to control the sub volume through I-Drive? If not, how much trouble would it be to run a line for an adjustable rheostat?

I never thought I'd upgrade my sound system but now that I'm scheduled to get my ipod integration installed, I might look into this and also upgrade all my drivers and get a small amp and the JL Audio CleanSweep.

F#ck, money pit.

Yes I have a CD changer but I'm going to lose it once they install the ipod kit. My dealer is quoting me around $350 for the labor. I ordered the iPod integration kit from Garry Romani for $240.

Talk about highway robbery. You don't need to take it to the dealer, it should be simple plug-n-play since you have the CD changer. I would only take it them if you have to get your software updated for it to work.

My car didn't come with the changer unfortunately and is only CDC prepped. So I'm missing the optical wire to hook it up.

They said I needed reprogramming and I would also think so for iDrive to display playlists and such.
