I have a 2008 535xi , with factory system. NO HK. will this work with it. I was going to replace the subs so definitely will benefit here, does this mess with the rest of the speakers or impact the factory amp? Is this strictly for subs is I guess my real question. LOL

This OEM amp harness/LOC alows you to either add a trunk sub and/or power the underseat woofers with an aftermarket amp. No other speaker is part of this.

This is my first post-TECHNIC- i am in the ft lauderdale area. You seem to know alot about sound systems and the way a beamer should / could be retrofitted with good sounding music. Pleas eemail me with your phone number, so that i can get in touch with you. Do you have a shop?
thanks.

TECHNIC- i was reading all your advice and other members advice too...so i was thinking to do something simple like
1.) adding DSP - JBL MS8

2.) and adding an amp to power the subs.

what else am i missing? Please advice. i dont want to spend an arm and a leg- but need more clarity and tighter punch on the bass.
you are the the expert- anyhting else i should add to this?

Please advice.
Thanks.

PS- just got this used 535i, and got a ticket on my 6th day of ownership. On day 7- i did some research online and ordered the Passport escort 9500ix
It just came in- will probably need your expertise to hardwire this as well.

Hi

I do not have a shop, this is just a hobby thru the Internet.

What is the OEM sound system installed in your car?
