Red face

Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum but post over at bimmerfest more regularly. We're doing a group buy over there for painted side markers (reflecters) on the new LCI E60. Feel free to look at this thread and sign up for the group buy if you're interested: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=243225

I just picked up an '08 550i in Munich (currently on the boat back to the US) and this is one of the things that bugs me about the look of the car from the front.

thanks.

Pete, did see your post over on Bimmerfest. How difficult is it to change out the orange reflector with out damaging the paint around it?

And isn't funny how all of us early adopters rushed out to buy the red reflectors for the rear of our early E60s and now were trying to get rid of the reflectors up front and go back to the colored inserts. I just find it a bit ironic!

I clicked this thread expecting it to be a group buy for smoked side markers or something and was disappointed because it was for the LCI side markers.

Pretty easy to do. The post on Bimmerfest has a DIY procedure - very easy.

I got bamboozled too. Even though I dont know what I would do with smoked / colored side markers. I have a silver grey car and the sidemarkers look fine.

and I can't stand the temp that works in my group. He's a moron and sits right in front of me. And I believe he's getting hired fulltime... Man he's an idiot..

Pete's talking about the amber reflectors that are embedded in the front fenders of the LCI E60s, not the side blinkers.

And what the heck are you talking about in that second sentence? hahahaha
