Regarding the back-up camera, how should i install it? Will the back-up camera be noticable from outside ?

I hope we get 16 to 20 units. I think I may be able to convince my Financial Manager AKA Wife into it at that price.

Will it work on European cars? Singapore has Euro-spec cars.

Yes, it will work. Hobi has a previous version of it and so far it works almost 100% with some minor problems on the i-Drive.

DomofNavwithtv 05-18-2005 04:30 AM

Hi Everyone
Yes the unit on the group buy will work everywhere. Hobi didn't have a problem with the I-Drive, he had a problem where the unit with built in TV-Tuner would only accept an NTSC input and not PAL. The units with NO TV-TUNER will accept a PAL or NTSC input. I am going to exchange Hobi's unit and he will repost his results.
Thanks everyone for your support. Dominic

Very Interested, but I wouldn't have a clue as to where to go to get this installed in Ireland.

Does the price include the rear view camera and not having the Nav option installed do I purchase a DVD player seperately for install ?

DomofNavwithtv 05-18-2005 12:52 PM

Hi
The interface lets you add whatever you like to the front screen. This includes but not limited to aftermarket Nav, DVD player, PS2, Camera, etc.
Thanks Dominic
