BTW, how comes Skaffa got 310 bhp out of his 530d and the West Circuit one only 260. Seems a big diference to me?

Here is, as reminder, my best 1/8-mile run so far:

Best time with no DSC or DTS, on dry:

60ft 2.308 s
330ft 6.285 s
ET 9.510 s
Speed 123.75 kph

Track temp 9.5 Cels

This kind of car with manual is extremely difficult to run. Red line comes so fast. I would say that autobox/better driver would take some 0,2-0,3 sec of from that time and speed to 130-135 kph.

Comparations and back calculations suggest 280-290 hp from rear wheels.

Who knows Fred, but before I worried about that I'd want to see them both dyno'd on the same road, one after another, to get proper comparitive figures - very dangerous I always think to try to compare figures from one Dyno with another. Even then, maybe one of the maps has a bigger margin of safety built in that the other?

There You are more than right! Only in same dyno, same time, same parameters are coparable. All other figures are only trendsetting values, which give some idea.

And finally what it matters? Only thing what really matters is that at we have noce time behind wheel. If we are faster thats all extra!

I have scanned them in jpeg format but the size in Mb is quite big. Can i convert them to a different format to make the mb smaller?

jpg is probably the most efficient - you may need to make them a touch smaller?

PM me if you want and I will give you an ftp site to dump them in and I can help you

E60525d, maybe you need to use a higher compression setting on the JPG? When you say they are too big, what sort of size are you talking? 300Kb per page should give a reasonably clear image.

Make each page about 1200 pixels high and apply whatever level of compression you need to to get them down to 3-400Kb each :-)

To answer some questions raised earlier:

Clive

Your member was exactly right the cost of the 525D is ?695+vat. Through you he would then receive 25% off the ?695. Sorry for that and be sure to tell him it was my mistake! Don't want to try and be anything other than 100% up front.

Rob's away for couple of days but as soon as he is back will sort out graph's for 535D and see what we've got for the others
Hope that helps I'll edit the earlier post if I'm able to reflect the correct pricing.

Also worth seeking out the current issue of Evo if you're interested in another DMS review.
