Unfortunately yes. You need a retrofit cable for the LCI lights to work on pre-LCI cars. BMW does offer a solution but it's a package that includes cables, new LCM and then programming. The cable is wired to the LCM at the front of the car and it'll take extensive removal of inside body panels to run the wires back to the taillights. The labor cost will be too high. This is the most cost effective way even though it's still pricy just for cables. The problem is mainly due to our weak dollar and the exchange rates.

I'm interested too...

Besides I am a new guy from Spain (hi to all), I have just found the Bruce Miranda Retrofit cables, but I would like to know what's the e-address or website of Bruce to order the cables if finally there's no Group buy...anyone can help??
