what is a shadow line trim and where does it go and whats the benefits of having it any pictures? thank you

It is the chrome trim around the windows on non-sport e-60s, on the sport e60s it is black...

Shadow line is the trim around your windows, if you just have premium package it's chrome, if you have the sports package it's matte black (unless you have the M5 then it's gloss black)
