Yeah, it was a fun exercise having the group buy. What do people think about a group buy for the M5 mirrors? Oh wait, there already was one...
And, $1200 or there abouts, is too much for mirrors. I'd rather add an additional $800 for a differential ($2000). IMHO, that there is a worthwhile performance mod for any e60.

Judging by ECF's comments below, then it's true. If you have the Step the differential is not available. The Step has a better final drive ratio (3.38) than manual (2.93). These are 545/550 numbers. The final drive ratios will be different for 530s.
