Quick Jack Lift

Hey everyone,

Just purchased and assembled a quick jack 7000TL. Works great for my son's E90. But it seems as though my G30 (2018 530xi) is too wide and too long for even the extensions. 1) Anyone have any experience with the same lifting a G30 body style 5? 2) is it ok to use the slotted rubber pads designed to lift from the pinch welds?

I would assume it's a bigger car issue and not a G30 issue. What does the manual state on the size car it fits. Lifting at the pinch weld is ok as long as it is going in the slot. If it doesn't the it will bend it.

Using slotted rubber pads on pinch welds is a common method for lifting vehicles with a hydraulic jack or similar equipment. However, it's essential to ensure that the lifting points on your vehicle are designed to support the weight and force of the jack. Pinch welds are generally sturdy and capable of handling the load, but it's always a good idea to consult your vehicle's manual or contact the manufacturer to confirm the appropriate lifting points and methods.
