BMW M550i Seats - Individual?
I'm trying to configure my next car and it seems like it's going be the 2018 M550i, but I have some questions. One of the big ones revolves around the seating packages. It seems there is their "entry level" leather, which is "dakota leather," then there is "nappa leather" and there there is the Individual series, which has three rather odd colors. The leather is call Merino leather.
Of course, my problem is that I like the colors of the base dakota leather better, but the salesman tells me that if I go with the top of the line Individual merino lather seats, I get not just softer leather, but that the cushioning is different and the seats are softer.
Is that... true? Is there a difference in softness of the cushioning in the 3 different levels of seat leathers?

2017 bmw 5 series
I have polished the Porsche and Jaguar from here, but this time it’s the 2017 BMW 5 Series of the new generation G30. For BMW cars to come back here with the seventh generation car feels a bit like taking Mulligan on the previous model.

The salesman has him one on the hook. Lol. Everyone has there own preference my take on that is im not trying to buy a couch. It's a car and for you to actually fell and difference you will have to take long trips.
I have sat in one and it is softer but not worth the price. I'm not planning on sleeping in the car so that option is not appealing. If I chose that option it would be purely for color not comfort. I've sat in many cars as you may have too and they all are eventually the same when sitting for 5+ hours.

My Ride: 530e. Bluestone w/mocha nappa and leather dash; executive package, msport, dynamic handling package, luxury seating package, HK, nightvision; driving assistance plus, shades.
I have the mocha nappa upholstery. IMO the Nappa and Merino are pretty similar but the Dakota is a major step down (I had Dakota in my previous 330e). I do agree that the color options are better in the Dakota but for the life of me I can't see why someone would buy a BMW and not spend the extra $1K to get butter soft leather.
I actually wanted the Caramel/Black Merino because I liked the color and because it covered more of the car. But it would have delayed my order by months so I took the mocha nappa and I don't regret it.
