What is BMW Assist?

BMW Assist links to the outside world integrating the wireless communication system and the Global Positioning System receiver available 24 hours a day, providing Automatic Collision Notification, Emergency Requests, and enhanced Roadside Assistance.

Does the BMW assist come with the 545i optioned with nav and sirus? I was told the 3 seris does not get assist with nav and sirus.

Here's a question....... I paid for my e60 in December 2004. I picked it up (ED) in Feb. 2005. Redelivered in April 2005. When would you think my "First year is ree" would end for BMW Assist?

In the UK we only get 6 months inclusive (hesitate to use the word 'free')

mmm do u think BMW should ramp up their BMW Assist feature to be equivalent to OnStar? i.e. become a concierge service??? or do u believe it should stay as is?

Certainly for 08 cars you get three years assist included. Also 3 years connected.

Correct, 3 years included and connected in the US, just extra for the concierge service.....
