Turbo or not?
 

Hi, this may be a dumb question but it's my first BMW I've owned and don't really know how to tell. I just purchased a 2008 535i RWD and have been seeing a lot of post about them being stock twin turbo. Any help on how I can tell if mine has this??

* on the engine I found a sticker that says 08876786/N54B30A.

yes it is a 3.0 liter twin turbo

You might locate your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the car or the title or registration. Then run the VIN at the following link to find how your car is equipped:

The decoding of the VIN will list the engine type along with other information, which should be the N54 engine if the badging is correct on your car. The N54 engine is a turbocharged, 6 cylinder, 3 liter engine. You might do a search to find more information on the N54 engine.
