The F-11 is a niche vehicle for BMW with a long history in the 5 series line. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for it.
The photo that I found actually looks nice to this viewer. Interior shots would be helpful.

I think the 5-GT put the nail in the 5 Touring coffin in the USA unfortunatly.

Actually, it already has... North America will not be getting the F11.

Enjoy the 5er GT.

The F11 may be in Italy in September, I don't know in USA...

A member of my Italian BMW Club took these pictures in Munchen, Germany, few days ago...

You can see that the BMW label is covered...

Yes it's fair to say that the American consumer -- not BMW -- killed the F11's chances of coming to the US by not buying the E61. Americans don't buy station wagons and instead buy tall vehicles. I don't understand why but there we have it.

Once upon a time in the USA the station wagon was "the car". In Italy we learn from USA to buy SW . Now, about BMW users ,here we see on the road more X3,X5 and X6 than E61. Last year my BMW dealer sold 30 X6 60 days before the official launch on the market.
I think people buys tall veicles (SUV) because 1. They have more space inside, 2. They are also a "status symbol" , when instead you can see series 5 E39, E61 everywhere... So in Italy and I think may be the same in USA..
