Is the "touring" still available in Europe? It was discontinued here in the States, I believe. Too bad,
because it should be IMHO a much sweeter looking model than the GT being currently forced upon us.
If it is available, are there pictures of it? Can it be imported or does it become gray market?
(This was also a cheesy opportunity to snag the last of the "first" post slots on the F10/F11 section. Haha.)

What's a touring? A long walk in the Swiss alps?

A more serious answer - yes it's still available albeit the number of options are getting fewer and fewer...

Does that also mean BMW is making fewer and fewer?

Dunno. Normally the outgoing model isn't the most produced, so I reckon it's the same with the E61.

Hi Lee,

Touring No Mas for US! This months Roundel explained as much, if you can imagine, the 550GT in only 3 months outsold the entire years worth of E61 Tourings sold in 2009. Id bet the 535GT will be even more popular...

Ah well, going to abuse this thread by stating the following:

I have now officialy decided that my next 5er will be an e61 again...

F11 is nice and sleek but has failed to grow on me the past months. No character, sadly.
