post spec lock, went for the gloss black kidneys and side indicator panels in black also. both of which took like an eternity to decide on. way longer than it took to choose the "options" items like pro Sat Nav, Visibility package, Auto tailgate Op. what is it about those Gloss black kidneys on the Alpine Whites?

Not the best time in the world to be picking the 535d (deep down I really, really wanted to), so I jumped in at the entry level 2.0. Never even test drove it before ordering. Im a fan I guess, 5 series Touring, whats not to like? currently in a 525i M Sport Touring that just purrs along like a dream. Never missed a beat in 3 years. Needed to improve my consumption and approaching that age where Im starting to think about the planet. But thats just noise around the fact that my budget wouldn't let me go any further after I spec'd it up. (I like my toys!).

Arrives at the dealer on the 19th, so should pick up on the 24th (Saturday), wouldnt want to pick it up on a dark wet Scottish evening when I can do it on a bright wet Scottish day!
