You just had to rub it in, didn't you.....

I'd be happy if I could get my hands on an F11 powered by a coal-fired steam engine...... But nooooooooo....the wizards of smart at BMW USA know what I really need is a GT.......

Sorry Stu3, I just forgot in the excitement that NA doesn't get the F11... I mean, what were they thinking of?

Its okay...

The numbers don't lie so I can sort of forgive BMW. Wikipedia say they only sold 400 Touring/Wagons in 2009 and bet 2010 was not much better. So the problem is really the American consumer.

Even Volvo pulled out of the wagon market here. They kept the X Country V70 but dropped the plain V70.

Our 2004 V70 2.5T AWD now has 88K miles on it and I don't know what to replace it with. I don't want a sedan. Wagons are just so damn handy. I can fit a tall Ikea cabinet (flat pack) in our Volvo (with the rear hatch closed) and you just can't do that in a sedan.

Oh yes, it's already coded in the may 2011 ETK upgrade.
So I guess it is already in production and it will be available with the model 2012 coming September onward.

Hi narvselius,
A small note.
Scania trucks are made in Södertälje, southern Sweden but Scania is a part of the German Volkswagen Group since 2008...
