yes, exactly - I've seen great Alpina interiors in black, grey, beige, brown, hell even red!

but when they try to "mix" their Alpina blue into the interior, it inevitably goes FUGLY

why on earth do they insist on doing that?? and particularly on a show car such a let down

+1! Maybe they overdo it because they want to stand out and be remembered...?

I thought the B5 E61 looked awesome, the press car in Alpina Blue with the cream and cognac leather was just perfect for the Alpina image, I think this F11 looks tat, looks cheap and tacky imho, the new classic wheels look pants and the kit just doesn't work, it looks better in the blue but I craved a B5 (but had to settle for a 535d) but the above car does nothing for me at all. All a bit bling.

did you like the pre-LCI or the LCI face better?

I was very impressed by a German press B5S Touring in "Stahlblau" or steel blue

The original, I just remember seeing these shots and thinking 'Wow! I could handle a bit of luxury over an M!'

aargh bi-color seats AGAIN seems they have a dirty habbit of experimenting with the tourings interior

otherwise I like the LCI front spoiler much better. I wonder just how drunk was the designer the night before he invented the one on the pic?
