Default Replacing broken sideview mirror

Wife came home from beach other day with broken glass on passenger side mirror on her 2011 528i. Call Sansing BMW and the glass replacement cost is $484 because it is self-dimming. Can I replace it with non-dimming mirror? It has a four-wire plug. I could get around that if needed. Burco has a an aftermarket replacement at $70 without self-dimming, which we don't care if it has or not.
Thanks,
DR

You can always replace it with one that has less options.
Yours should have heated mirror and dimming option.

It simply pops out and clicks in.
