Very boring small screen from factory, no navigation even. Very hard to find used F10 with option 609 in Ireland. So retrofit is often the only solution.

So there you go, complete upgrade pictures. Only takes a few hours to retrofit this.

i have a f10 manufactured 02/2013

it has the 5.5 horrible screen no sat nav

i am reading all these different things about cic and nbt (what does this stand for?)

ultimately i just want a cheap upgrade to the bigger screen with the least hassle, i dont want to do a retrofit kit

i just want the latest idrive software so I can do mirror play. am i right in saying that if i have the latest software for idrive it has the mirror play?

I have the f series diagnostic and cable so can code myself

, i dont mind the android chinese ones on ebay which has all usual functionality plus more but a bit on the high side cost wise especially as its not OEM.

can I just purchase a screen off ebay, direct plug and play and then code it?

does the latest idrive software have mirror link? mirror my phone onto screen.
