My Ride: 2007 530i. Purchased 6/28/07. Titanium Silver Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Dark Poplar Trim, Steptronic, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Bluetooth, Adaptive Control Xenons. 10/30/07 Added OEM 124s with 245/40/18 & 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. Installed red Cal Covers� from BavAuto. 11/21/07 Added OEM all-weather floor mats (for winter, carpet in summer) and coat rack. 6/26/08 installed M5-style rear spoiler. 6/30/08 put on red reflectors. 8/22/08 Euro turn signal stickers applied. 3/20/09 Installed Shadowline Trim. 3/27/09 Added Matte Black Kidney Grilles from Trinity. 4/03/09 Installed Bimmian Shadow Matte Black 530i Badges. 4/04/09 Installed LED license plate lights from Trinity. 5/01/09 Installed Brabus Interior LED Kit and White Angel Eyes. 5/02/09 Put in Brabus 6K Fogs. 5/14/09 Removed charcoal filter. 5/15/09 Installed light smoke LED side marker lamps from Trinity. 5/21/09 Sprint Booster. 6/12/09 Painted exhaust tips flat black. 6/13/09 Pulled red Cal Covers and painted calipers low gloss black. 6/27/09 RPI Ram Air Scoop from Trinity. 8/15/09 Installed Brabus's silver invisibulbs front and rear. 9/24/09 Installed R-Dash license plate LEDs from Brabaus (John).

My Ride: 09 M5 (E60) Interlagos blue, Silverstone interior, with cold weather package. Adaptive Xenon headlamps and adaptive brake lights, hud, comfort access. Comfort seats, basically fully loaded.

Yeah but the Dinan Stroker kit for the e60 is 628 hp @ 7500 rpm and 480 lb-ft torque @ 6000 rpm!!! That's V10 power. Not to mention u can always put a turbocharger in the V10. Rear mount turbo! Break necking 830hp!! I dunno how the shifts in the DCT will feel. It wouldnt feel like anything tho probably. I am also wondering if DCT shifts will be SLOWER than SMG-3 from fifth to third gear. I know from fifth to forth is lightning speed but what about fifth to third?

All legit questions and points well made but you have to consider that if for example Hamann brought the X5/6 M from 555bhp to 670 bhp all only by raising boost and exhaust then you have to think that similar will be done with the next M5 so that it brings the level of cheap and easy to mod performance to roughly 700bhp.



Imagine if you extend that upgrade to a more aggressive one, getting bigger turbos and larger intercoolers etc....

Plus if the KERS rumor is true than you would get a 700bhp tuned F10 M5, with no more than 5000 Euros, + KERS for 800bhp.

That's awesome, congrats! But don't forget to compile the list of first year production issues you may run into and be sure to shove it in your dealer's face.

multumesc Bro, almost... the only exhaust is a full exhaust system with sometimes headers modified by HAMANN or catalyst pipes, and middle, x pipes etc mufflers, that is always giving a car min 30 Hp gain, another 30 Hp comes from ECU (remap) modification.

hope all is clear now guys, but this is not that cheap you see 12.000 EUR! but affordable compared to the gain, and FUN lol.

BMW has not release pricing on the F10 M5. Plunking down this kind of a deposit is to ensure that you are first in line at the dealer when the car rolls out.
