Yep - I don't think everyone always realizes that we're extremely lucky in the US in terms of the prices we pay for our cars...
That said, don't forget your pricing includes VAT whereas ours is always tax exclusive until the point of sale (adding around 8.25% or so here in Silicon Valley). Still, there no doubt that you pay more for the same car than we do.

Baseprice i Denmark: 1.965.000 DKK + options for another 7-900.000 DKK.
So a fully loaded M5 here would be 2.800.000 DKK = 375.800 EUR = 521.000 USD.
Lovely country.

I think we have a winner, unless anyone can do any better. I know that Australia and Israel both have serious luxury car taxes. Are they as high as Denmark though.

Base price 155.895,88? (214.749,00 USD) in Finland. You can easily double that with all options.
And some american guy dares to claim how "extremely unlucky" you are in the US (because of dollar conversion?) - priceless. I just thought I saw a 2006 M5 for 29,995$ in Classifieds section: similar cars go here for $100k. No offense but get your facts straight first.
