Man, are you guys just pulling numbers out of the rear end or have some actual acceleration calculators working for you? I'm assuming 4300 +/- lbs at 568 HP using Patrick Hale's formula. The interesting thing is you don't know the actual HP or weight yet.

If a stage 1 f10 550i is conceiveable of doing a low 12's, then there's not much incentive to buy an M5 which has a possible $20K+ premium over the 550i.

And you can mod an M5 to possibly go low 11s....

An M5 or similar flagship models from other brands is more than just acceleration.

Sure it is, but all cars, at one point or another, it's fun to see how it would stack up against other cars same or different class. Just like if you ran against a 997 TT or a stock C6 on a freeway. It's the element of surprise that you enjoy and the damn, that M5 is something not to be reckon with.
