90k? Seems like a good price, I thought they were going for over 100k. Love that combo...

poleposition 10-24-2012 06:28 PM

Thats a EuroDelivery price. The ED invoice is 77K and goes up from there with your chosen options. A good relationship with a dealer goes a long way. My car came to $104+ as ordered on the configurator. I paid same as Joe.

Sandy made this trip bittersweet. Had to leave my 2 boys in a house with no power. Have many friends who are sufferring and im in Germany. Have some guilt but not many good options other than going through with trip. Many thx to Calton for keeping my generator filled with gas. My wife and I are extremely grateful for Caltons efforts. He and some great neighbors made the trip possible.

On to some pics.

Nice a$$!! Looking forward to more photos when you have a chance...

Glad to hear the family is doing OK... And never had the pleasure of meeting Calton in person, he is a stand up guy!

Having been through Katrina, seeing Sandy brings back plenty bad memories for me. I know the road ahead for folks up there all too well, it is a long one but they'll make it through as hard as that may seem right now...

Heres a pic in front of the world famous Hofbrauhaus. This was a tough pic to get.

Not having power for 13 days was brutal. Kerry is lending me his new M5 for 13 days in return for my help. Ha! ;-)

kscarrol 11-20-2012 06:16 AM

Awfully nice of Kerry... but I suspect he doesn't know anything about lending his new M5 to you!! :D

I would gladly do that just so long as you leave me your M5 during those 13 days. I'll then appreciate the F10 even more. :P. Although knowing Calton, he would never adhere to the break in. 2 yrs ago, We were in my M3 not 20 minutes after leaving the performance center with 15 miles on the car and he was at 7k rpm on the highway. Understandably couldn't help himself. What do you think would happen in this car all by himself?

Euro Delivery program still active??

My dealer recently told me that the Euro Delivery discount/program for the M cars has been discontinued. Can anyone confirm this, or do they not know what they're talking about??

Thanks,

poleposition 12-03-2012 07:59 AM

Your dealer doesnt have a clue. Time for a new dealer. I hate hearing stuff like this.

crypto 12-07-2012 07:45 AM

Why would they even say that? Seriously ignorant to their own brand/program or slimey and really trying to push for a quicker local sale?
