Yes same old question, but I cant understand it.

Hi,

So the question remains the same.

What is a high/low offset wheels.

Is a wheel high offset when its more deep that means less distance between the center of the rim and the rings hub ?

or is it vice versa ?

Again, a high offset wheel has an ET of 20 or 40 ?

Thank You.

Higher offset is typically meaning a higher positive number when referring to BMW wheels. A higher offset wheel will be "tucked" more into the car. Most people prefer the "flush" look where a wheel and tires' outer edge is flush to the fender.

From what I understood, a higher positive number meaning +40 rims face will be moreinwards to the suspension and have more lip space, lets say 4inch, while +20 face will be away from the suspension and lip space will be small, may be 1.75inch ?

Am I correct ?

But when I asked somebody they told me that since this car is on low offset, application is difficult for my car, which exactly the same as the car in the link, a 2006 Civic.

Thank You
