Does anyone know which wire to tap into to hardwire a radar detector? In previous BMW's Ive used the green/white wire in the dome light by the sunroof switch.

 

Not sure about the color codes for the new cables. But you can get a cheap $10 volt meter and test the wires. Positive cable on the volt meter to the wire your testing, and black cable on the volt meter to a ground (frame..metal screw attached to frame...etc..)

Used that method on another car and had everything rigged up and hardwired in about 20min.

 

I guess I could do that also. I'll go to radioshack and pick it up. Thanks
