F10 Hood/Trunk roundel replacement...

I am switching my Hood and trunk BMW OEM roundels on my F10 for some black/white ones. As I was removing my hood roundel today , I came to find out the pins attached to the grommets aren't the only thing attached to the hood , but there is also some strong adhesive holding the roundel. This is only on the hood roundel, the trunk pops right off for it has no adhesive. My new black/white roundels have pins only and they are a different size than the wholes with grommets on the hood, I am going to shave off the pins but will have to tape or stick it on somehow. My question is : What kind of adhesive should I use in order to ensure my hood emblem won't fly off on a spirited driving day or come loose with water?? like always , thanks in advance for the help, I really appreciate it.

3M emblem adhesive from ur local auto parts store.

That simple huh. Well at least this thread will help any other F10 owner wanting to change their hood's roundel.

White and blue is a very nice combo.

Looks very good Lui. I'll tell you a story about the roundal on the steering wheel tmrw. It still brings chills down my spine when i think of it.
