By referencing to Dinan's website, the X6 & 750 with the 4.4L TT V8, they were able to increase hp to 495 (+95) and tq to 573 (+123). But for $3000 ... Wow, that's crazy !!

$3000 for almost 100HP and 100+TQ that's great for the price, especially from Dinan. There shouldn't be any issue what so ever.

Been waiting to start seeing what the TTV8 was going to see from aftermarket tuners. That is near M territory in HP and WAY more torque that the V10 now. It has convinced my my strategy for a PLAIN 'ol F12 is the way to go and for ~$3k get to teh next level. Dinan is generally more expensive than the other tuners, but then you do get some tight integration with the BMW folks on the plus side.

Oh, yea, I know 3k is worst case. I would guess there will be 3-4 quality tuners in the ~1k - 1.5k range near the Dinan numbers. I personally do not have to have Dinan, as I see the x35i folks getting a lot of performance AND service from the JBs, vishnu (Proceed) vendors. I would not be scared off at all by these vendors. I just want proven solid performance from a vendor that is service oriented. And the more competition the better. Not only will there be the numbers game but features such as on the fly changes and multiple maps, etc.
