Plausible? Meh. Source: eGM CarTech.
Plausible? Yes, seems to be the case

Please check this thread http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=48561, where I found info about the different prototypes - and the "artist's impression" of the most popular prototype should then be the one we see on the pic's you posted. But that doen't mean the car will look like that...

Fair enough question, 2 reasons.

First, I think the shape is a little cleaner now. Especially on the touring. The rear of the 5 (the trunk and lights) is what bothers me most and the wagon has less of those design elements and it sbeen resolved a bit since generation 1.

Secondly, BMW is still the best all around car out there. Between the handeling, driving experience, finish, materials and service, there is just nothing to compare it to. I spent 2 years complaining that I should never have left the brand and should have just kept my 525.

I had a few basic criteria this time. I wanted a great car, with all wheel drive and great customer service.
I looked at everything including the S6 which was the only other real contender. Audi's service is so bad in my area its laughable.
We know about the E61 and BMW's drop off / pick up with free loaner car at no cost servie. Aside from charging for maintenance my local Audi dealers dont offer a loaner or pick up and drop off service, to top it all off their service center is nowhere near any public transportation, the the Audi dealer actually used the words "its not like BMW".

Aside from Audi... Mercedes and Lexus I'v never liked. Rover & Jaguar, I'd rather limp from bus to train than give Ford another dollar, not even a consideration after my recent experience with Rover(FORD). VW had nothing worth mentionig. I did drool over the Quatroporte a bit, but then reason set in. I just kept coming back to BMW as the best car out there, I'm sure I'll learn to love the stealthfighter lines as soon as I go for my first long drive. Plus the Aero Kit smooths some of those out.

Now if they only offered an M class estate with all wheel drive in the States, I'd never want another car again.

The rear is ok, i'm guessing it might look that way or close to something like that, cuz the other thread said there was a confirm on the rear lights looking like a merge between the E92 with the X5? The front is NO!
