Funk me....that's ~£147,000 here in the UK.
That's V10 Aston Martin territory! What are Spyker C8 Laviolette's and other stable mates fetching? Here in the UK, I've only ever seen one Spyker in the flesh and it was sweet.

My Ride: 2008 Silverstone II E60 M5 2012 E70 AW X5 50i Sport w/ LCI Aero Kit and Rocker Panels
I test drove the f10 550 sport (in sport+ mode too) and had the car to myself. I beat on it pretty hard and just wasnt satisfied. Yes, sure, it had all the new bells and whistles, but thats not what i care about. The car is refined and luxurious, but is missing a very key element for a current M owner -- it's not raw and thats what i love about an M. Theres a big difference, which is why its hard to go backwards, once you go to an m. I returned the keys and car to my dealer, hopped back in my m5 and had the best smile on my face on my way home. The 550 was to be a temporary solution until the new m5 came out, but i decided the bett choice was to buy my current m5 out instead. It was the right choice and even my dealer said the same thing. The hard part for me is that nothing will ever satisfy me unless its an M from now on. I cant go backwards.

If you wanted raw performance, you should've gone with a CTS-V (more power for less money) or a E63 AMG or even a Nissan GT-R. (There's nothing on the planet right now that can out-perform a GT-R Premiuim for less than $100K).

$62.5K is the base price of a F10 550Xi (with no options). You could go to BMWUSA.com and see for yourself. There is no way a loaded, brand new 550Xi can come out to $64K...more like $80K+.....so yeah, he either lied to you or wasn't talking about the right car.

Anyway, invoice for the 550 is roughly 8k under MSRP, give or take a few bucks, depending on options chosen. My 550 priced out around 75k at invoice. Build price was in the 83k range. Unfortunately, the 20" 312's can't be residualized on a lease. I would have been close to 90K MSRP if I wanted those wheels.
