I have a 2004 545i that I would like to trade in for the new f10. Does anyone know

when the release is? 2009?

No, more like late 2010/2011.

Keep it! :)

No !! Get an LCI now, and then an F10 in 3 or 4 years !!

It will be a longer wait than that. If your car is low mileage and in good shape I might consider keeping it .Instead of spending more money now on an LCI you might want to add some nice upgrades/mods if you havent already done it. While the 08s do have some nice tweeks it's not a radically different car. When BMW did the facelift on the 7 series there were several major changes that made it significantly more appealing . They kind of got the 5 right and didn't need to tinker with it too much. Where you are located ie country will have some bearing on the key points of difference .In the US and Canada all V8's now come with the MSport package, this could be the swing factor if you are staying with an 8

Cheers

Nah, it's 2010 launch - which most likely means 2011 before you can get the full range of engines, sport model, etc. The E60 LCI only came out 2 months ago. Standard practise is three years between LCI and new model launch.
