Default Sticky Internal Door Handles

There is a few threads on this about on the web........ my internal door handle finger grab has a rubber face over the plastic moulding and its perished such that it feels sticky and leaves a residue on my fingers.
The passenger side one isn't much better.

Has anyone sourced a convenient replacement for this "rubber pad"?

Hoping its not a whole drivers side "door buttons mounting" moulding replacement?

Any help appreciated, Simon.

I literally just did this over the last 2 days. Replacement kit is pretty inexpensive and even though it was a pain in the butt, it was a good learning experience and gave me a better idea about how these beasts are actually put together.

To your question, I don’t believe just the rubber pad is a replaceable option, at least without looking tacky (no pun intended). Just know that it isn’t just the drivers insert that’ll wear over time. My passenger and rear right handgrips were worn as well, so getting the kit and spending the time to do it yourself won’t go as a waste in the end.

YouTube is your friend. Plenty of good DIY videos out there.
