Apparently my new 550i is sitting at the VPC in South Carolina awaiting a new part. Anyone have any information on this issue? Thanks.

It was mentioned in Doc Holiday's F10 thread that the air travel disruptions from the Iceland volcano caused a delay in the delivery of these parts to BMW. Rather than holding up production, the cars were produced and the seat belt modules would be added at the VPC. Doc Holiday's car apparently has been delayed as well and this issue was highlighted as the most likely cause...
