Hi F10 forum,
The 535 dA has made 14.444 kms since 7.7.2011. Average fuel consumption 7,3 l/100km. No faults, just pure joy of driving. Today I made a couple of iPhone pictures after Swissvax detailing. 3 step detailing: first paint rubber claying, then polishing with Cleaner Fluid Professional and finally Sealing with Concorso wax. Now the Carbon Black Beast looks about like what I want it to be

Beautiful!!
That fuel consumption is truly amazing! I presume also due to the rather conservative speed limits in Austria? Do you do a lot of Autobahn in Germany or a lot of up&down in the Alps?

Yes, I am really satisfied with the consumption. Appr 75 % of the total driving distance is in Germany - the traffic in Bavaria is quite heavy though, so average speed is normaly around 160 km/h - but the cosumption includes a lot of stop & go traffic, which is really not ideal in terms of fuel consumption.
The engine & gear box combination is just amazing!
Greetings,
TGII

My Ride: May 2008 530D "M" package Exclusive line.
Hi TGII,
Nice sister car.
Mine has less mileage (2000 Km) but I got about the same result (7.3 L/100Km) with a mix of urban ride and highway at 150 Km/h.
This includes my last trip from Brussels to Bordeaux (940 Km) in 7 h 30 Min with cruise Ctrl.
The most amazing point being the RPM of around 2200 at 150 Km/h.

Hello TitangrauII530iA,
Clean car and very nice vicinity
Just got my summers on the 10th of April and will serve my car in early July.
But I have a pretty long list of matters that do need guarantee upgrades to.
- transmission programming (actually a full upgrading of the cars data unit).
- whisting ventilation the dash (when on the red zone).
- some kind of problem with the battery and/or generator system. It failed in the coldest winter.
It switched off all the electric heater functions and made the car cold when you really needed the heat.
- there's something wrong with the front suspension. Reports of shocks upside down (!?) and drifting
to the right has been reported. I have a small right side drifting and some rattles.
- cracks in the rearlights that are in the trunk lid.
