This worries me. Hopefully they get these things ironed out before my build. Are all the F10 owners getting this notice?

Guess that's the price of getting a first year model. At least its covered under warranty. Sigh.

BMW had this problem back in mid 2000. I remember this very well because I had a 3-series loaner that day as my 7 was being serviced and next thing while I'm driving the tank showing about a 1/4 full then the car goes mute in the middle of the road..........

Seems to be the 535i engine.

Not diesels anyway.

It's official - 6,400 US F10 5-series have been recalled. And about 12,000 worldwide.

I got today the "VEHICLE?S FUEL LEVEL SENSOR" giving me a "bling-bling" after some
1.000 km's of driving with my first tank of diesel.
