If you ask me, if that's not a real photo, that's probably the closest thing to the what's likely to be the real thing that I've seen...

I still like it! ;)

If that is it, I like it. It will look even better with a M Tech or M5 ki, fly wheels and shadowline.

"It will look smoother, too, with former design chief Chris Bangle?s controversial styling dropped in favour of a much more conservative shape."

Bad move IMHO. I don't like it.........

........Yet!

very very conservative design if this is it, that front is just too big in the nose! lets hope the M5 looks nuttin like that!

Z4 nose, 3 series belt-line crease, LCI 5er lower font valance....what did I miss.?

pjinca 11-17-2009 05:54 AM

I like everything BUT the tail lights, a little too much like the 3 series to me. I don't mind the "family resemblance" of the belt line and headlights to the 3 series, but the tail lights is taking it a little too far. Still, it does look like a more natural evolution from the E39 styling than the E60 did. Historically BMW designs have been conservative, but the performance was there. I think we are getting a return to that philosophy.

Hmm... Looks like a mix-match of 3 and 7 series.... :getlost:

enelrojo 11-17-2009 06:26 AM

It looks more "big 3 series" than "small 7 series" to me, but all of this is speculation until we see the car in the flesh.
