This week I am going to place an order for my 5th Euro Delivery BMW, a 535. Delivery will be July 13 and I have already booked the flight and major hotels. I am going to negotiate the deal as I always have based upon dollars above US Euro Delivery Confidential Wholesale Pricing. If anyone here has information on what prices that have been negotiated on recent Euro Delivery e60s that would be helpful. I am interested in dollars above US Euro Delivery Confidential Wholesale Pricing. Thanks.

If you are looking for routes, we had some great drives on the last European Meet ('09), check the link in my signature or PM me. There is also talk of a "World Wide Meet", so if there are a few more members coming over for ED of their F10s, this might actually all come together....

This is a tough economic climate for architects so I am trying to cut back. Also I am after better gas mileage. If things change significantly I may revert back to the 550. I decided against the 7 because I thought that it might be too ostentatious for the current economic climate plus it is not as athletic as the F10. What I really wanted was a 535 diesel. Unfortunately they are not being offered at this time in the US.

Wow, ED of the new F10 sounds really exciting. I definitely want to do ED for my F10 in 2011.
As far as deals on ED go, several months ago, member JeffNNJ, a CA at Wide World of Cars, was offering a killer deal for all orders including ED (I believe it was $250 over invoice). I don't know if his offer is still in effect, however, as it might have been an end of the year thing.

One of my US colleagues bought a 2.0D VW Jetta; most of his colleagues thought he was mad - until they had a ride in it!

My first choice is definitely a 535d. Unfortunately currently diesels are not available in the 5 series in the US. The 335d is available and it has gotten great reviews by the automotive press and owners alike. Diesel BMW's are past due in the the US. They get great mileage and perform great. The US needs to get serious about global warming since most of that junk in the atmosphere is ours or at least a disproportionate share of it. Diesel engines certainly make sense from a global warming perspective.

I'll find out in 2 to 3 weeks when US pricing is released.
