My Ride: Gone Waiting
Hi Guys,
Just a few days back i sold my 545 and now decide to order a new one but getting confused.
should i go for 550i 0r X65 5.0?
well i need some info on the 550 , does the dvd in glove box play on the screen or should i add ACM for dvd?
Also i want to know if i can use my forged wheel from my 545 and put it on the550i

What is a X65? Is that like a X5? If so, then you're talking about 2 different types of vehicles which can't be compared. I think you need to test drive both vehicles to see what fits your needs the best.
Also, I don't think the wheels from the 545i will fit on the 550i.

I personally found the X6 models very challenging to drive - outward visibility left a lot to be desired. And the sedan felt a lot roomier. On top of that, pricing for comparably equipped vehicles was outrageous - but that's only my opinion. If you want an eyeopener ask your dealer rep how fast the X6 leave their lots ... that certainly could make for horrible resale or residual value.

bore size for the e60 and f10 are the same...but RWD F10 offsets are a bit higher than RWD E60's IIRC...so not sure if your forged wheels on your E60 will fit on the F10...
between the X6 .50 and F10 550i, I think it comes down to your wants and needs. Have you test driven either one yet? Both are good in their own right, but comparing the 2 is apples to oranges IMO. A big pet peeve of mine with the X6 is that it only seats 4, no middle seat in the back row, makes no sense to have an "SAV" and not offer "standard" passenger seating. I do like the look of the X6 performance pkg aero kit tho But the F10 Msport kit is good also.
Good luck with your decision

Hi vishwen,
The 550iA xDrive is also a alternative if you want a 4x4.
For both cars you car order a TV/DVD screen front and also for the rear seats.
Your E60 wheels don't fit on neither of the cars.
