The picture was posted here in the last few weeks but not the article that went along with it.
News that BMW wants to shorten the gap in lauch time between the F10 M5 and the non M5 F10 models is very very encouraging.
God willing, that my next car when my lease on my 550 runs out in 2012.

My Ride: Week 17 Build, 2008 E60 535d M Sport - Titanium Silver, Black Dakota Leather, Visibility Package, Media Package, Automatic gearbox, Steering Wheel Heating, M Double Spoke 172 19" Mixed Wheels, Auto-Dim+Exterior Mirror, Comfort seats, Front Seat Heating, Aluminium Pentan interior trim,DAB Tuner, TV Function, BMW Individual Audio System 825W !!
However the big question is, what?s under the hood? Until recently we had heard M was testing both a twin turbo V10 (based on the current M5?s V10) and a twin turbo V8 (vaguely similar to the engine found in the X5/X6 M). Based on our sources we believe M will settle on the V8 due to lighter weight and cost factors. However we?d love to be proven wrong.
I hope they are proven wrong also and M division go with the TT V10
It needs a big engine to fill that hump in the bonnet/hood V10 FTW

A TT V10 would be incredible. But given that BMW can surely tune the TTV8 up to and way past 600 bhp without the massive additional development costs of an all-new TTV10, I really doubt that BMW will go the TTV10 route.

there would not be any significant costs to upgrade the S85 as compared to what they'll spend on a crap wanna B \\\m ttV8 :thumbsdown:
the wars' about to start with the F10 and the upcoming F1x 6ers, it will be brother against brother, NA vs FI, and we in the traditionalist club are not going to take this sitting down!!!!! dont believe the MINI hype outta the "new" \\\m CEO, ///M as we know it is on life support as we speak, its dying and it may not be able to recover, the trucks have dug the grave and FI will be the nail in the coffin, only the Motorgods can save us now (and a grassroots push back from the Roundel members and the CCA like with the 6MT!)
