Trouble is that BMW seems to have lost its edge from a design standpoint - if the F01 is anything to go by, the F10 will be derivative and more conservative than its predecessor. Where the E60 was innovative and industry leading, the F10 will probably be much less so. There are CS cues in the F01, and there will probably be some in the F10, but the days when BMW had the biggest balls in the industry (as evidenced by the E60 and the E65/E66 which were class-leading and mould-breaking) are probably coming to a close

I agree ! MB and Audi are pushing the envelope, even Luxus , sadly BMW is getting conservative on us

This can go head to head with MB CLS re: its design characteristics. The F10 should be the continuation of (sporty) executive arrival per BMW campaign for the E60. My 2 cents
