The new F01 7-series will tell something about the looks of the new F10 5-series.

It will not for sure be as futuristic as the E60 was compared to the E39.

I was thinking the same. This seems to be a more valid argument than all the photoshops circulating everywhere.

Agree, the F10 will probably be a "sporty/dynamic looking" 7-series, or an E60 with F01-traits in it.

Anybody in the St. Louis area interested?
BMW: Ownership has its privileges

Behind that wall is the new BMW 7-series sedan.BWM owners attending the BMW Championship golf tournament near St. Louis this weekend can get an early look at the company's new 7-series simply by flashing their key fob.

In a pavilion along the 16th tee at the Bellerive Country Club, BMW has brought a 2009 7-series and secured it in a private room. Inside, Berkay Demircioglu, the 7-series manager for BMW North America, will give BMW owners--yes, BMW motorcycle owners qualify for entry, too--the inside scoop on the company's new flagship sedan.

BWM marketing folks have identified golf as high on the list of interest among BMW owners, and this is the second year of a six-year sponsorship agreement between BWM and the PGA Tour. The BMW Championship, formerly known as the Western Open, is the third of four tournaments in the tour's FedEx Cup playoff competition. Last year, the event was at the Cog Hill Golf and Country Club near Chicago, where it will return next year. In 2010, the BMW Championship will be at Crooked Stick near Indianapolis.

The 7-series is to be officially unveiled at the Los Angeles auto show in November and should be in dealerships early next year.

Of what I seen spy shots the rear of the new F10 could look something similar to the F01's.
