Here's the review link for the F10 from LA Times pulitzer prize winning author DAN NEIL.

My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
Sorry link doesn't work.
535i review
try this one
This quote is disappointing:
"But as a strange little rock goblin with big lips once reminded us, you can't always get what you want. With the 5-series you get everything you want -- except fun."

No problem happens to everyone (except Gene)
I feel the same as this guy so far:
"Enthusiasts should definitely wait for the inevitable M5 performance version to arrive. Put some aero skirts on this thing, shoe it with racing rubber. There's definitely a fun car under all this technology.
Can't wait to drive that one."

My Ride: 2005 BMW 545i
Harsh comments but to each his/her own. Everyone has their own opinions so what may be lacking to some are adequate for others.
However, I would agree with his general conclusion- every new model of cars that come out (luxury brands) are detaching the driver more and more from well... driving. I mean humans want more of doing less. To car enthusiasts, this sucks. To the rest of the 99% everyday exec/white collar worker, this car is awesome and a status statement. Every car forum has complaints about the new generation being less of a driver's car, especially on the various BMW M forums. It's how it is, and how it will be and it seems like everyone is getting offended by this fact. If you want a driver's car, save your $70k from not buying a new F10 550 turbo charged V8 and get a Honda Civic weekday wagon and a Lotus Exige S weekend warrior. Done.
