My Ride: F11 -14
Guys, I have planned to give you a more detailed update from my hous bible "auto, motor und sport". Got it just before the weekend 
and this edition is tells the story of the new 1-series and 3-series.
And since the 3-series and 5-series often end up with the same engines, I read the list with great interest - especially the part where the 340i was mentioned. It's NOT the already existing twin turbo six as seen in 135, 335, 535, X5 and X6, but a complete remake that will see better mileage and higher BHP output. About 340 BHP.
2012 suddenly seems sooooo long away.
And a 3-series GT is on the way...

Speaking of the GT, i really do bealive this to be a stupid mistake from BMW. I doubt BMW will make any real money on the GT, just as i think Audi is not making any real money on the Allroad. Just a waste of money on R&D! And now they plan on doing a 3 GT? This is quite some gamble!

Have to agree - still have difficulty in seeing the point of that car. At least the renderings of the 3-series GT looks better... or should I say less worse?
