N54 or N55 on the F10 535?

Says twin turbo, precision direct injection, infinite variable valve timing - signs of the N54 AFAIK. But I'm curious - since F10 is not really anywhere close to winning me over on it's looks - if the blown 6cyl F10 will be a stuttering retarded stepchild of the 5 series line-up due to the same old HPFP as well as the e60 535 or what? Legitimate concern, I think - considering all the HPFP issues with the N54 engine...

i think the word "precision" got thrown in to make it sound better. Direct injection should be precise already.

LOL maybe it should've been called High Precision Fuel Pump all along - maybe this way they'd at least feel a little obligated to make the damned thing work. BTW my friend with the 535 - 5th time the HPFP needs to be done. Again. I'm like W. T. F. no words... no friggin' words... I feel your pain, Craig. And his. And considering how much I love turbo engines and BMW, it is quite a PITA that the only 6 cyl turbo that BMW offers is doomed from get-go. I was so looking forward to F10 coming standard with the HPFP PITA delete option.

V, Open those eyes a bit more!!! . It does NOT say twin turbo, it says turbo with twin scrolls, so its the new design single turbo with dual scrolls that have been mentioned, not sure of the engine designation, but its new and would not be considered N54
