both 4 door hardtops and loaded.
I just loved both cars.
Hah, I'm defenitelly older than you!
Talking about old things and feeling....
I own a Lada Niva, for doing things with in the forest, that other cars can't.
In the woods the layback Russian really is suberp to all kinds of power off roaders or more modern vehicules.
And I love it!
Not so much as my F11 though.

My Grandmother had a 78 Imperil with a sunroof and while leather seats. It seemed to go fast in a straight line but was not great. My Dad had a 73 Caddy and while it was big it did not feel like a boat( like his newer town car) and was a nice car. My favorite car was my grandmother's 63 Lincoln it has the rear suicide doors fine leather seats, power door locks, (vacuum powered no noise) front disk brakes, recovery tank for the radiator, and was a high test big block with dual exhaust. It had tons of power and you could easily spin the rear wheels. The interior was great and the speedo was this bar graph that would turn red over 70+/-. In 1963 I don't think BMW or Benz made a large car that was as nice.

I drove a F10 loaner and it reminded me of my dad's Lincoln Town Car, not the ultimate driving machine.

Lincoln Town Car?!....seriously?

Were you sober when you had the loaner?

It rides and handles better than a Town Car, but you know what I am saying. Pete have you driven a plain 528 F10?

Rule #1 in car buying - never get the bare bones base model, of course they're crappy they usually end up as fleet cars and loaners.

I have driven many E60 528's loaner and they were quite nice. The new F is heavier so I guess the lower HP of 528 is more of a issue. The size and boat like rides is the same without DHP.

If it rides and handles better, then why did you say the F10 was like a Town car?

Get your facts straight before making such ridiculous comments.

In comparison to the E60 the F10 528 is like driving a Town Car.
It feels big boat like and isolated from the road.
