I'm narrowing down options before ordering a 2012 535I. Is the M Sport package worth it? I currently live in Germany (2 hours from Munich), and will get my US Specs vehicle before returning to the States in 2012. Being in the Military I get to purchase the car at a base price of $44,540. Thanks for your 2 cents.

The US F10 M-sport pkg is purely cosmetic IIRC...no upgraded M sport suspension or changes in performance.....

As for looks I think it's definitely worth it. This wasn't a factory installed option on the '08 535i.
For the performance you need to get the dynamic drive or dynamic handling packagage. Not sure of the exact name but someone else who has an F10 should be able to tell you.

The M-Sport package for 2012 is actually $4,800. They have removed ARS.

The M-Sport is mainly for looks. You could get a regular F10 and equip it with the Sports Package and Dynamic Handling and it would perform the same as a M-Sport. The front and rear spoilers and side skirts can also be installed later on if you want to.
However, if I had to do it all over again, I would get the M-Sport. (It wasn't available when I took delivery last year).
